From Amy Tippit

I met Sarah when I was 18 years old. My sister, cousin, friend, and I all attended Point Loma Nazarene College and shared an apartment.

Many days upon returning home from class, there would be a note that said "Sarah" and whatever time she needed someone. Whomever was available, took the job. Of course "the job" was babysitting Ashley and Carl. Sarah paid us $4.00 an hour and that was generous!  I have many fond memories of those days. Driving Ashley and Carl around in Sarah's Volvo station wagon, discovering how delicious HIT cookies are, and of course Brie cheese baked in a pastry puff.

But of course, one can not talk about Sarah without acknowledging her style. Understated yet classic. Thank you Sarah for teaching us all that black pants, white tops, and pearls NEVER go out of style.
